Team Responsibilities
To ensure your property matter progresses and completes in a timely and stress-free manner, LPL has built an effective team structure alongside our online portal.
We would like to introduce our hardworking teams to you to make it easier for you to understand how your property matter progresses through our firm and which team is responsible for each stage.
Client Services Team
“Our friendly, helpful Client Services Team are your first point of contact and on hand to assist you at the outset of your conveyancing journey and throughout. We are passionate about delivering a great service which we believe sets us apart from other conveyancing firms” – Vicky Boden, Team Leader.
In addition to answering queries and providing updates, they receive your initial instructions and create your client care pack before emailing it to you for completion online.
Once you have completed the initial paperwork you can upload it to our online portal and the team will pick it up, check it and once satisfied; complete our initial due diligence before assigning the matter to a case handler in the Conveyancing Team who will become your main point of contact.
They will also request contracts and order searches where necessary and provide updates to you, your mortgage broker and estate agent.
Conveyancing Team
On receipt of your matter, our experienced Conveyancing Team will call and email to introduce themselves and set out the next steps.
We appreciate individuals prefer specific types of contact so please let us know if you prefer email or telephone contact and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Your case handler will conduct all the legal work on your case in order to conclude the transaction as quickly as possible. Although we try to progress things, we can only work as quickly as the rest of the chain and we understand that this can be frustrating.
There may be times throughout the process when it may feel like not much is happening, but please be assured your case handler is liaising with third parties and always working in YOUR best interests.
We appreciate that the process can be very complex and you probably do not do it very often, we do it hundreds of times every day so please trust the process and remember there is no benefit for us to delay matters unnecessarily.
Once your matter has completed, we hand the matter to our Post Completion Team to ensure that we fulfil our post completion obligations.
We have lots of conveyancing help and guides on our website to assist our clients better understand the conveyancing process including:

Post Completion Team
Following legal completion, although this is the end of the story for mortgage brokers, agents and clients, our work is far from complete. Our experienced Post Completion Team will pick up your case and ensure that the relevant papers are filed correctly to make sure the registers are updated.
This can involve liaising with lenders, freeholders, lawyers, managing agents and many others to obtain the relevant documentation to conclude matters for you.
This process can take up to 12 months following legal completion so don’t be concerned if you continue to receive notifications ad updates from us during this period.
Post Room Team
Our dedicated Post Team work hard to ensure that outgoing post is despatched properly and all incoming post is recorded and uploaded to your case the same day it is received so that it can be reviewed and dealt with quickly.
Although we receive large volumes of post every day we are committed to dealing with it efficiently. We are a paperless office so any paperwork which does not need to be retained is securely disposed of once uploaded to the case.
